In 1849 – 1851 Johann Bohlmann, a tinsmith from Bremen had a wooden shop on the site which this property sits. In 1852 Bohlmann built a single storey stone and brick symmetrical cottage. He later extended to the East and added a second storey. The family sold in 1922 to a teacher who added a second storey to the West in 1925 to cater for increased enrolments at Creveen. The school closed in 1934.
